According to Child Help, over 90% of children are abused by someone they know. Child abuse occurs at every socioeceonomic level, across ethnic and social lines, within all religions and at all levels of education.
 
 
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's mission is "...to serve as the nation’s resource on the issues of missing and sexually exploited children. The organization provides information and resources to law enforcement, parents, children including child victims as well as other professionals."
 
 
RAINN, The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE and the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline at rainn.org, and publicizes the hotlines' free, confidential services; educates the public about sexual violence; and leads national efforts to prevent sexual violence, improve services to victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.
